Bunker + Condition Survey

In shipping by sea, ship owners, ship operators, charterers... always have the need to assess the amount of fuel onboard at a certain time/place for the following purposes:
- Carrying out the ship's handover (when the lease term expires or when the ship begins to receive)
- Control the fuel consumption of the ship (for management purposes)
- Check the amount of oil received on the ship (control the purchase of fuel)...
Because the ship's journey always changes depending on the source of goods and cargo requirements, the shipowner, the ship operator, the charterer cannot send their staff to assess the amount of fuel on the ship due to many reasons. reasons (due to long distances - travel costs and time for inspection staff...). Therefore, to support ship owners, ship operators, charterers to carry out fuel inspection.
Steps to conduct the inspection:
- Check ship status & collect information (determine Trim, List, unload/load status, receive oil..., layout diagram of fuel tanks, refer to density of fuel types - level) fuel consumption for each operating state of the ship...)
- Conduct measurement of fuel tanks on board (measurement of sounding/ ullage and temperature)
- Calculation of fuel volume on board at the time of inspection.
- Prepare reports and issue inspection certificates
Over the years, with a strict inspection process and a team of professional assessors, PESI has been trusted by many ship owners, ship operators, and charterers to use the fuel volume assessment service on ships, bringing high efficiency in ship management and operation.
